Shimmering with soft pink hues, the 2023 Skywalker Rose has a glowing personality that greets you with a soft, vernal nose of daphne and hints of lilac.  Yet, the pale color of this Rose belies the complexity of its palette.  Layers of white nectarine, strawberries, and Rainier cherries – even maybe a hint of ripe pineapple – yield to a lenient minerality in the finish.  Pair with pork rillettes, spicy calabrese sausage, lumpia, or falafel bites.

In 1784 the Bastide was built, using true Provencal methods.  Based on plot selections, this exclusive cuvee reveals the richness of the Château Margüi terroir in its most noble expression.   Aromas of strawberries in the 2022 vintage evoke the first hints of summertime and warmer weather.  A medley of honeysuckle, lychee, white peaches, and Fuji apples refresh your palate.  This wine’s pale pink color belies its rich texture as a well-structured wine ready to be paired with a shrimp, avocado, and corn salad, some Baja-style fish tacos with Cotija cheese, or a seafood paella.
