This allows the wine to be reimagined in accordance to the regional landscape and lesser known grape varieties which shape the land's identity. The 2019 Pristinvm is a crafted blend of Ciliegiolo, Sanforte, Pugnitello, and Foglia Tonda. Ciliegiolo is often found in the blends of Chianti and takes its name from the Italian word for "cherry". When reimagined on the slopes of Umbria, this variety is quickly being championed as a serious contender, and a new favorite to our palates. High-toned red raspberry, hibiscus, and hints of sundried tomato leap from the glass. Lively, yet rich this blend shows refreshing finesse with its spritely acidity lending way to concentration as a result of old world soils.
