First planted in 1566 in the ancient Etruscan and Roman style, by Capuchin Monks, the olive grove of Il Convento adorns terraced hills intertwined among lush vineyards. Overlooking Lake Trasimeno, the grove benefits from the Umbrian region's unique climate. Our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a single varietal expression of Dolce Agogia olives, fresh and intense but not overpowering in flavor and aroma, with a buttery consistency, soft green color and artichoke characteristics.
